Today is Nov. 30, her four month birthday and every morning we spend some time together reading, singing (poor girl) and working on her stomach etc. I had just put her on her stomach while Matthijs got ready to take her to the babysitter. I was cheering her on but then looked away a bit to sort through some clothes she just grew out of in her recent growth spurt and am chatting away to her.
then i finally look over and my heart leaps - she was looking right at me@!!! I had placed her facing down, but now she was facing up - loll!!! I yelled out - Oh My Gosh! (which frightened Matthijs - oops)....Anyhow, we placed her on her belly again and she immediately arched her body and rolled right over in 2 seconds!!!!
I am so proud and recording it right now in her little book. I wanted to share the joy :-) I have also posted some pictures taken about 2 weeks ago. We bought a tigger jumper off of another ex-pat couple and she is very cute as she mostly just tries to chew the sides (she started the teething sympotoms almost a month ago - ugh). The other ones are funny b/c she LOVES to lay there with the blanket just over her face and she always manages to pull it over - lol
She is also in one with her uncle Wouter who stopped by to say hi a couple weekends back. And, of course, can't forget our other babies, Samuel (black) and Mickey(grey).
