Het Geetje Broederij (The Little Goat Farm)

Today was a fun fall day - the first Saturday after school begun. Everyone is back from holiday and the roads and stores are busier again - unfortunately. We took advantage of actually having some family time and heading off to a goat farm we heard about. It was a lovely small farm which made and sold its own cheese, milk, baking mixes, jams, honey, mustard, etc. Hannah loved seeing the baby pigs drink milk from their mom and discovering roosters! She was a little nervous about the goats, but loved to swing and play. It helped that although pretty windy outside, it was also nice and sunny. Christian, being only 4 1/2 months old, just chilled in his stroller - enjoying being a part of things in his FSU sweat suit :-)

The other photos are from Hannah's first day of preschool! A few of us moms got together and ordered a full curriculm of American preschool courses and we are taking turns being the teacher. It scares me a bit - much rather teach adults - but its the price I pay for Hannah to participate. This past week was the first week - we meet every Wednesday and Friday. I volunteered to teach the first week. I think it went well. There are three little girls who love playing with eachother and are all very smart, which made it easier on me :-) By Friday's lesson, I had relaxed some and enjoyed it more. I am now working 3 days/week at the law firm so that I can do this for/with Hannah. She says she loves school and being with Ashley, Rachel and mommy :-) It should be a great "growth" experience :-))))

No news yet on going to NYC or back to Florida instead. Still waiting word...
