In order to give mom something more than a 3 week babycare experience, we took her on her first visit to Belgium. We drove just a couple hours away, near Ghent, and found a beautiful chateau - still lived in! We paid for the tour, walked through the gardens, but then when we got to the house they tried to tell us that a French tour group was coming and therefore we couldnt get a tour ourselves! Needless to say, we weren't happy about that and mom spoke up! So, finally they found someone to give us the tour in Dutch and I just passed on the highlights to mom. We saw a small portion of the inside which was very full of many many old pieces of furniture and pictures from royalty. All in all, it was fun and Hannah was so great during her first road trip!
